Sept. 17, 2015 – USAA is bringing football to the military this NFL season through the Salute to Service Tour – an interactive NFL experience combining football skills challenges, such as a quarterback accuracy challenge, an unforgettable photo opportunity and military insurance protection education. Active-duty military will have the opportunity to win tickets to local NFL games and to nominate a member of their military family to win tickets to Super Bowl 50, courtesy of USAA, the Official Military Appreciation Sponsor of the NFL.*
The 77 day tour, from Sept. 5 through Nov. 21, culminates during the NFL’s Salute to Service month. During that span, the tour will visit make 19 stops in military markets from Hanscom Air Force Base near Boston to Miramar Air Show in San Diego, and several major installations in between, including Fort Benning, Fort Hood, Fort Riley, Joint Base Andrews and USMC Camp Lejeune.
“USAA understands military life has many challenges and can be stressful at times, so bringing our ‘Salute to Service’ experience on-base is a unique and exciting way to recognize and thank the military community during a historic NFL season culminating with Super Bowl 50,” said Vice Admiral (Ret.) John Bird, USAA’s senior vice president of military affairs. “We know the military community is passionate about their favorite NFL teams and USAA’s sponsorship with the NFL allows us to share that passion by strengthening connections with our military communities in a way that no other insurance company is able to.”
After the event, participants can visit SaluteToService.com for photo retrievals and information. See the 2015 Salute to Service Tour schedule below and follow the tour using #SaluteToService.
