Where do you live!? Can you add to any of these current reviews, or help some fellow military spouses figure out where to live when they get their new orders? I was so comforted when moving to Lemoore, CA knowing I had personal reviews and recommendations from other military spouses! Our best resource is each other!

I have linked to the discussion about each location and added a snippet of a member review; please add where you can!

Nellis AFB: "Palo Verde in Summerlin is good, as is Arbor View in the Northwest and Centennial also in the Northwest. If you're looking to live further south say in Henderson, I would check out Coronado and Durango."

Columbus, MS: "Lots of fishing spots, college sports, Noxubee nature refuge, good restaurants, historic mansions and you are very near Tupelo, a pretty happenin town. Very baby friendly, safe, small town."

Fort Bragg, NC: "You may want to check out Southern Pines, Aberdeen, and possibly Pinehurst (farther). Many move their because of its quaint, walk-able, quiet, small town feel with all the amenities."

Fort Riley, KS: "My husband and I are moving to Fort Riley Kansas and I would like to know if anyone has any information about where is a god place to live in and where is a good place for me to look for a job?"

Fort Huachuca, AZ: "Frankly I just left and Buena high is the best bet, if you are going there military, I highly suggest living on post, more for your money compared to off post, I was a SSG with one child and automatically was assigned a 3 bed 2 bath single garage door duplex/home."

Fort Drum, NY: "Jobs are mostly in Watertown (15 miles down the road from Carthage, 8 from Fort Drum). Winters are harsh so learned to love skiing and snowmobiling and it won't be so bad. Four wheel drive is a must, the snow gets deep."

Great Lakes, IL: "Nice area not far from Chicago (you can catch the train). If you can get base housing that would be awesome. They have been re-modeling since 2007 so a lot of the housing is new. I hope you like the snow, winters do get cold."

Fort Sill, OK: "Just PCS here two weeks ago and have been told the same on schools. The west side has a school district call Cache and on the east there is Elgin both are blue ribbon schools districts, but if you are buying then expect your taxes to be higher on your house to paid for those good schools."

New London, CT: "I would highly recommend the town of Waterford for the best schools and the best neighborhoods. It's close enough to the base (about 20 min drive depending on where you are in Waterford) and close enough to the major cities that are in CT."

Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX: "El Paso is all about the people. You will meet lots of friendly people in this city. El Paso has lots of LIVE music, skiing in New Mexico only 2 hours away, mountains for hiking or biking, and most importantly, a strong respect and high support of the military!"

Ft. Rucker, AL: "DHS has limited course offerings and hardly any honors or advanced classes. I think you're making the right decision by choosing Enterprise schools."

Tucson, AZ: "If anyone knows, or knows someone in the area that could assist me with finding employment i would greatly appreciate it!!!"

Ft. Carson, CO: "If you find yourself being PCS'd to ft carson, and you do not want to live on post, check out fountain,

co. it has a small time feel and the schools are good. its close to the base, and the prices aren't bad"
