How can a company who only allows military to join, support the disrespect of our nation.Guess it's time to look elsewhere for our needs.

Patitucci - Our purpose in becoming a league sponsor was to honor and appreciate the military community, and that will continue to be our focus. Professional football continues to be among the most watched programming and through our sponsorship, an avenue for us to encourage America to join us in saying “thank you” to our military and their families. Please also know that we’ve contacted the NFL to emphasize the significance of the national anthem and the vital position it plays in acknowledging our country, as well as the men and women who have fought to safeguard our liberties. We value your feedback and would hate to lose your business.- Jason

Its time to stop the sponsorship of the NFL.

You sir are out of touch with your customer base!  The comments here are but a tiny fraction of what people are thinking.  Furthermore USAA talking with the NFL is simply words.  Words that sound more hollow every time you say them.  It is time for action.  If you think USAA can sit on the fence on this issue you are more naive than you should be.

USAA: you "contacted" the NFL LAST year and here we are; it got worse. Please spare us the PC statements and SHOW US ACTION! Clearly $$ outweighs Vets.

After being a member of USAA for over 20 years, I am disheartened to learn that USAA is still sponsoring the NFL!  Management needs to reassess their mission and remember what has made the organization so successful.  Financailly supporting blatant discrepect to American fundamentals is indefensible.

" Our purpose in becoming a league sponsor was to honor and appreciate the military community, and that will continue to be our focus." - USAA

I fail to see how sponsoring a bunch of unpatriotic, overpaid and unappreciative millionaires honors or shows appreciation to the military community. USAA could present an ad that incorporates the account of the flag raising on Iwo Jima and announce their cancellation of all future NFL advertising. Otherwise, you will see even more prior/current military looking for a new financial services company.

I was disappointed every USAA comercial during the game after the NFL has decided to allow the disrespect of the flag and the anthem.  They are allowed to have their oppinions, but a company like USAA that has a higer integrity and respect for the people that served and sacraficed under that flag should not be supporting an organization like the NFL.

Make a stand, USAA!
Well then, USAA will be losing four major members...oops, sorry because apparently we are not really members, just unimportant customers that you consider quite replaceable. This is not the same USAA that our family joined decades ago. Time to find new investment, banking, insurance and more. NFCU perhaps.
