USARick 10-08-2017 03:52 PM Drop the NFL or lose our 35 year membership.......If you really want to know how your members feel, send it out to all shareholders for a vote and let the chips fall where they may.
Fletch123 10-08-2017 08:19 PM I agree with this petition. I am SO disappointed with USAA leadership on this issue. They failed to do the right thing. So, now we must do the right thing and take our business elsewhere, as difficult as that may be.
JP231 10-08-2017 01:37 PM USAA has had plenty of time to do the right thing and they refuse. Sad...
User Gumby75 10-08-2017 04:16 PM I have to say I am shocked! On the entire BOD there is not one leader left. Not one leader that will stand up and say that supporting the NFL is wrong! Only silence - SAD. Well, after 37 years with USAA I am moving on. It is actually turning out to be a good thing. Insurance cheaper elsewhere, Credit cards with better benefits at Chase and better banking rates at Goldman Sachs and ALLY Bank.
idk2017 10-09-2017 12:31 AM I support this petition. I have liked USAA's services, haven't had one issue until recently. I had pride in being a member but now feel as though my values are being mocked when I pull my card out of my wallet.
Java62 10-09-2017 07:31 AM Many including myself are getting quotes for insure from other companies. I already cancel my usa visa, and unfortunately after calling I was given a genetic statement about how much usaa cares about us and how "they" will always stand for the National Anthem, yet their actions do not support such statement, I was told that nfl ads add to their base by recruiting new members , with nfl ratings down on all markets you would think they would reconsider this ad strategy, here is the numbers in case usaa can't find them ! Favorable ratings for the NFL have dropped from 57 per cent to 44 per cent from the end of August to the end of September Meanwhile, the unfavorable rating for the league is the highest among any big sport - 40 per cent - according to the Winston Group survey In August and September, baseball had the highest favorable rating than any other sport at 63 and 65 per cent The National Anthem protest along with criticism from Trump has caused core fans, men aged 34-54, to turn their attention elsewhere that segment aline is down 31% !!!! Wake up USAA.
228 10-09-2017 10:05 AM i support thepetition re the NFL
User 1420 10-09-2017 10:21 AM I support this petition, please listen to your members.
vwman 10-09-2017 07:08 AM As holders of many USAA policies for 40+ years we stand with this petition to drop the NFL. Sadly we are researching other insurance options.
officerwife1 10-09-2017 11:35 AM I want to add my voice in supporting the petition to demand that USAA remove their sponsorship of the NFL.
Budman67 10-09-2017 02:25 PM After 36 years I already changed insurance company and will continue to moved out of others areas as USAA continues to be silent and supportive of the nfl.
time on the pond 10-09-2017 03:35 PM It is time for the board to respond to the will of the members. Stop your support for the NFL. Your freebies from the NFL are not worth subverting your moral standards. End NFL sponsorship now.
shaggy1 10-09-2017 05:28 PM Drop the NFL
JD46 10-09-2017 06:36 PM I am a 30 year member. I was once proud to be a member of USAA when it was a true membership organization...I can no longer say this. USAA has become just another insurance company that cares more the dollar then the values of the vast majority of its membership. USAA has proven this with their continued sponsorship of the NFL. Sad! USAA is lacking leadership, just hiding until the dust settles... This PR disaster will be studied in marketing classes for decades to come.
Patriot100 10-09-2017 06:55 PM I'm out as well Disgusting
Matty4 10-09-2017 08:23 PM USAA - stop supporting the flagrant disrespect of our flag, our anthem and above all the men and women who are serving and have served this country!
Member since '68 10-09-2017 02:11 PM As a long-time member I'm very concerned about the deterioration of USAA's commitment to it's members. I'm adding my voice to the petition in hopes that the BOD will recognize the error of it's ways. Am beginning the process of moving our banking and insurance business from USAA as of today.
Fit Navy 10-09-2017 01:53 PM USAA needs to drop the NFL. Most of ALL your clients are veterans. We are tired of the NFL disrespecting our country, Veterans, and the Flag we fought for. My father and fellow servicemen that I served with died for this country and I am sick and disgusted that USAA would support this activity by sending these Billionaires millions of dollars to sponsor an organization that degrades our flag, country and veterans. WHY would USAA support an organization that degrades all of its members and clients???????????
Steam and Power 10-09-2017 02:12 PM Other that than USAA's continuing to support the NFL and team owners that are allow players to disrespect this great country. A person or company can express their self but understand there may be consequences. I would hate to leave but I will
Love my cowboys 10-09-2017 04:04 PM It was once said your either with us or against us and with your continued support to the NFL you've chosen against us.
69to73 10-09-2017 10:28 PM Many people died to ensure that American dissenters have the right to voice the ir opinions. However, we also have the right to reject those opinions and to remove any financial support of those dissenters. Please remove your ads from the NFL.
LupusF15 10-10-2017 04:55 AM spot on. USAA end the NFL sponsorship. I've already closed 3 accounts with 3 more to go if things don't change. Respect your clients, not the thugs.
RGWGoTigers 10-10-2017 05:33 AM Stop the sponsorship. Respect us.
TORIM 10-10-2017 05:58 AM I am not a member of the military, but my father has been my whole life until he recently retired. He has traveled the world for this country, and taught his girls to be patriotic and proud if this country. What the NFL is allowing is heart breaking. For a company that has opened its doors to help military personnel and their families to continue to sponsor them is even more heart breaking. STOP!!
Proud Deplorable 10-10-2017 06:36 AM Pull the advertising for the NFL!
BuckeyeJoe 10-10-2017 06:58 AM I've already started collecting quotes from your competitors for all the different types of insurance that our family purchases from USAA. I've been a member since 1992, but will gladly sever that relationship if USAA cannot do right by our military and immediately STOP sponsorship of the NFL.
