I am pretty new in the army, just a year in service, but I'm being medically boarded and possibly temporarily retired despite my wishes to stay in. Does anyone know how difficult it is to rejoin after the 6 months wait is ended?

Also, is there anything I should know or being doing financial - wise right now? I'm pretty much in the dark about everything.
