After undergoing an overbearing, annoying "third degree," I was able to close out an investment account. The most interesting aspect was that the USAA rep was totally unaware of any current member discontent with USAA leadership. That speaks volumes.
Ringmaster, Can you please elaborate on your experience? I had a similar problem when I closed my CDs. Their CSRs just couldn't believe that their rates were not very competitive. I had to answer a lot of questions. Even after that--I was redirected to another person higher up to pretty much answer another set of questions. Very irritating to say the least.
