Wow, just wow

Amazing to see that 100% of membership efforts to decouple USAA from the National Marxist League have been in vain. USAA simply doesn't care what we want and essentially are telling us deal with it or leave. Hoping that we'll simply accept it. Three years later, people are as unsettled by this as before. With the NFL doubling down and now openly supporting a family hating marxist supporting organization in the form of BLM (verdant concept, horrible organization) we yet again call upon organizational leadership to take the hard right over the easy wrong. USAAs reply? Silence.
If USSA sponsors the NFL for the 2020 football season I will be closing all accounts, regretfully walking away after 30 years of excellent service. I will be not be associated with the hatred for America the NFL conveys.
To USAA Boardmembers,
Please remove USAA affiliation with the NFL. While I understand the rights of USAA members to associate with the NFL, I also understand my rights not to. Your advertised partnership with the NFL on my behalf violates the trust I have enjoyed with USAA for almost 30 years.
My thoughts on the NFL should not matter here. What I've stated above should be enough for USAA boardmembers to reconsider "our" formal affiliation with the NFL. With that said, I'll state it anyway.
I used to be a huge Seahawks fan ... facepaint, season-ticket holder, you name it. I even flew my family from Singapore to New York to watch our team play and win in Super Bowl 48. But as soon as the team wrote a formal statement inticting our country as an unjust nation about 4 years ago, I stopped supporting them. I stopped watching other NFL games as commentators spoke so highly of those players who kneeled for our national anthem. I became so disgusted with the division taking place, and being forced to choose or accept a political side and disrespect my nation in so doing. Watching the games, it was as if I was being asked to cede just a little bit of my faith in my country each time as a condition for watching a game. I wouldn't have it, and when forced, I chose not to watch the NFL anymore. I will always stand for my country.
I miss football. A Seahawks fan from 1984 to 2015, I knew that when I attended games, most of those around me probably did not share the same political views as me. But in the stadium, that didn't used to matter. We all stood for our country, and we all shared a love of our team. Now that has been ruined. I would ask USAA not to take sides here, either. USAA is an organization I've believed in ... who has been there for me through the years. Now, I feel betrayed.
Please stop endorsing the NFL.
Very respectfully, John Montonye
As a member I'd like more clarity into the return on investment USAA may have realized from their NFL marketing campaign. It seems as though USAA is trying it hardest to increase membership but I'm seeing more and more of my family, friends, and peers drop their insurance, mortgage servicing, brokerage, etc. because USAA has not remained competitive. It's great to see the company grow and services expand but the amount of money spent to entice a very small population of NFL viewers is over the top. For those of you who say you are leaving because of the stance the NFL has taken on some societal issues are in for quite a suprise as USAA is one if the least "woke" providers out there. Cheers.
