Car broke down 2 weeks ago on late on a Sunday evening.  I parked the car and decided to wait until the following day to call.  When I called I told them I was at work and would leave immediately to meet up with the tow truck. I was told that I had to be at my vehicle for them to activate a claim. I told them that their suggested plan made no sense and it would be more efficient for them to get ball rolling since I was only 20 minutes from the car.  I was then told it would be 3 hours before they could dispatch a tow truck. I then called an independent service and they said them would meet me in 20 minutes.  USAA let me down when I needed them most. Been a member for over 35 years and this is the worst service I have every recieved.. Not worth paying for!!
