'Way back in 1947, my father, a career soldier, joined USAA.  His faith in USAA has traveled down the years....four generations now: his daughter, grandson, and great-granddaughters.  He is gone now, buried at Fort Sam.  But my mother continues to receive the benefits of USAA membership.  She just celebrated her 89th birthday.  Our USAA membership was earned in WWII with Patton, in Korea, and in Viet Nam.
