I had just moved back to the U.S. after living overseas for several years because Dad was posted over there and then when he retired, he just stayed there, so when he passed away, I came back to the U.S. Well, starting over here was extremely hard as I had no credit history so everything including credit cards, insurance, rent, etc. was either denied or sold for extremely high rates or interest rates. Anyway, my sister suggested I join USAA 12 years ago. They sold me insurance at a GREAT rate; they offered me a credit card; free banking, life insurance, they financed my first car, etc. They are AMAZING.
How do they hire their people? In the 12 years that I have worked with USAA, I have NEVER EVER spoken with a rude or non-caring person. They are always helpful, kind, they listen, and they are proactive in finding solutions!
All my non-military friends are envious. They all wish they too could be members of such a fantastic organization.
