I don't see why it takes 3-4 days to transfer money from a bank account at different bank to my USAA account.  It's electronic, this isn't snail mail.  I verified that the funds were sent from my other bank, but USAA is sitting on it and making interest on delaying my money.  I am not happy at all!!!

If the funds were sent via ACH (Automated Clearing House), no matter what institution is receiving the funds, it will always take at least 2-3 days.  The sending firm may show a distribution from your account immediately, but the receiving firm will not.  This is a typical delay.  This is because with ACH, the funds travel through two underwriting banks and the federal reserve before it arrives at the receiving institution.

If the funds were sent via wired funds, this will usually reflect in your receiving account the same day or one business day later, however there is usually a fee to wire funds.

Hope this clears things up a little.
