It is somewhat disconcerting to read all of the complaints posted on here, and I think some people might have unrealistic expectations of what a bank should do for a customer. Personally, my husband and I have been pooped on by some awful banks and we shopped around quite a bit before we learned about USAA after he joined the military. We've been members for 10 years, have used this bank for our primary checking account, gotten insurance on our car, home, and a renter's policy, and used the car buying service. We have had to make a couple of insurance claims, and they made the whole process so painless, it seemed too good to be true. I've never been happier, and after hearing about how some other commercial banks (and even credit unions) take advantage of their customers, I never thought I'd be able to say that I love a bank. But we love this bank!
