When I first arrived in California in 1983 I went to a local State Farm agent to transfer my policy from Louisiana to CA. He worked up a quote, but said it would be a waste of our time to complete the transfer paperwork. He asked if I had heard of USAA and told me to call them. 18 vehicles later and USAA is still the best value for me and my family. I really wish I had gone back to thank that agent in California.
