Hello, we moved to California last summer from the east coast. I've loved all of our locations, but this one has been one of the best. We are at Vandenberg AFB and I love California...the weather, activities and food are all great. Oceanside seems great, right between San Diego and LA! You should visit the central coast up along HWY 1 or 101, lots of beautiful scenic wineries. And there are so many museums & amusement park military benefits to include Disney.
