As an RN I was called into the Army Nurse Corps in July 1966. While at Fort Sam for 6 weeks I was invited to a get together at USAA. I had never heard of USAA at this time. I enjoyed the meal and in 1969 when I was preparing to leave Japan with my family and return to the States I bought my first policy...insured my household goods which I think cost me $15.00. That was it! Have been doing business with USAA ever since! 41 years with a reputable, ,ethical, responsible company. So glad I joined with USAA!
