I first became a member of USAA while employed there from 1969 to 1977. I left USAA, thinking I had become ineligible, when my husband died and I moved away. I remarried a couple of years later and while talking to friends, I learned that once a member of USAA, always a member. I have been back as a policy holder for over 25 years. My adult children are USAA members and their children most likely will be as well. It is nice to have a relationship with a company that I am so comfortable and familiar with and that I have such confidence in.
