My first husband joined in 1969 when USAA was still just for Army officers. He only stayed in military service for three years, but we continued to appreciate USAA. In 1976, I joined the Air National Guard. In 1982, we divorced but I was delighted to learn I could have a USAA account of my own. I've moved many times since then, and it was wonderful knowing I could still do my banking no matter where I lived. I'm proud to be a member of a banking and insurance company that has such a good reputation and provides so many services.
