My dad had USAA auto insurance as long as I can remember. He was a WW2 vet who retired in 1960. When I graduated college and was no longer eligible for coverage under his policy, I had to go with an alien insurance company. I felt naked, exposed. But a couple of years after I graduated, my mom got a notice in the bill that USAA was accepting the children of policy holders who were no longer eligible under their parents' policies. So I jumped at the chance to return to the fold. I've been with USAA ever since. When I bought my car, you helped finance it. When I bought my house, you insured that for me too. I'm still a happy customer, for about 40 years. Thanks, USAA!
