I married a Marine's daughter, and my father-in-law suggested (strongly) that we purchase USAA insurance (auto, home owners, life). The rates were competitive, and I liked the idea of having ONE insurance company to deal with, so I took his advice. I have not regretted it. Thirty-one years later, after a divorce, I still don't regret it. Now I am more interested in the financial planning and retirement services than the insurance. I think USAA is an excellent company with excellent products and services.
