My daughter needed her own checking account for Social Security. We were so worried - we'd heard so many horror stories from other families about banks and people with Autism. However, USAA's teen accounts has been just wonderful. My daughter learned quickly how to get online to check her balance and how to use the prepaid card in stores. The parental controls give us great peace of mind - we don't have to worry about things getting out of hand without our knowledge, plus it's so easy to add funds to her card. None of our friends with Autistic teens have anything like this - and while their children are still struggling to understand about money management, our daughter has become very responsible. We know you didn't have Autism in mind when you created this program, but Thank You, USAA, you've made a big difference for a young adult working towards independence.
