On March 17, 2007 I was getting ready to jump in the shower when I heard my smoke alarm. I opened the door and quickly realized that the whole front half of my home was on fire. After the fire department had arrived, I borrowed a phone and called USAA. It was the middle of the night, and I assumed I would have to leave a message with the overnight agent and call back in the morning. I was wrong. The agent started my claim, and even deposited an advance on my settlement that was in my bank account before I woke up. I lost everything I owned, but having USAA on my side made it so easy to get me back on my feet and replace what I lost. Thank you USAA, I am a member for life!
