Hi me and my husband left for a trip and we deposited money into our account on fri afternoon and the guy we talked to said that it would be in the account right away. Well come Saturday we had a flight the early mornin to Cali, we get to rental place and card gets declined cause only a hundred dollars was in there, and the most of it was on hold till the 15, so we call after talkin to a automated system then finally get someone and I tell them that we are stranded in Cali with a lil pocket change, good thing we paid for our hotel already or we would have been really screwed. They tell me that can't do anything about because its all done by computer to hold our money so I actually hung up on them cause they didn't fixed my problem, and I might leave them because of there deposit policy and they don't care if people is stranded in another state.

Deal is USAA has regs on amount of deposit=Large deposits, say 3K (after reviewing your checking account agreement), can take up to 3 days to post.  Really do you honestly think it's USAA"s fault for your unruly decision.

 

I feel sad for you, but at least your room was paid and your "pocket change" bought  dinner.

 

I wish you a better decision making policy next time.
