I have been trying to talk to a manager about USAA's beyond bad APP and AI services. The new App is so bad it takes sometimes hours just to increase your ATM debit card limit. IEither USAA needs to fix their non-functioning APP or allow permanent increaes to Debit Card limits. Problem with APP is that if you are OCONUS, it will not send you a security code to the foreign cell phone.....could be fixed with an email security code but that requires management to take action. I have been a member since 1977 and have never seen worse service......anywhere.
You are correct about not being able to get a security code on an overseas number. That said, I am always given the option of getting the code via e-mail.
Often you can even opt-out of the code during the phone call and they will just ask you further verification questions once you reach a representative.
