When I was in college, my USAA credit card was stolen without my knowledge. The thief attempted to charge a few hundred dollars worth of purchases at stores like Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid in the matter of an hour. (Apparently s/he needed a lot of toiletries!!) This must have sent a red flag to someone @ USAA, as I got a call w/in an hour of these fraudulent charges to ask me if I was actually the person using the card. I checked my wallet and sure enough my card had been stolen without me even realizing. They eliminated the charges from my account, deactivated the card, and sent me a new one... I didn't even have to lift a finger. That's reassurance!!!

My husband is a member for 40 some years and and I joint 12 years ago. I am very pleased with the service, most friendly and knowlegable people at USAA.
