I joke that I married a USAA member, got rid of him, but kept USAA! Seriously, though, after my divorce, I went through some tough times financially as a single mom, and USAA was always there for me whether it be for renters insurance or to finance a new, reliable car that would get me to my job without problems. Through the years we've enjoyed good driver discounts, good student discounts, and expedited replacement debit cards. My daughter got a taste for investing the First Start Growth Fund. Now I tell my daughter that whatever she does as a young adult, she should never give up her USAA membership.
