ADT is telling me I added service and have a 3 year contract

We have been utilizing ADT since we were in the Chicago area and we relocated in 2015 and use them here in Texas when we tried to cancel last year they told us that our contract was up in July 2017, now they are telling us it is July 2018 because we added services. We always had ADT pulse and we have not added services. I feel like they are ripping us off and there's nothing that we can do because they will not send us a copy of the contract. I have the email that shows we started service on 7/7/15 - I don't mind paying the fee to leave them but they extended the contract without my permission. Not to mention we just realized we have been paying for a home that we haven't lived in for over 9 months as it is auto debited. I bought this service because USAA recommended them - what can I do now?
