My active membership with USAA began in 1978 when I went on active duty as an Army chaplain. I learned about USAA from my father in law who was a career USAF officer and who served during the Berlin Airlift and for 22 years active duty. As our 2 boys grew up and started to drive, they were added to our policy and after college got coverage on their own name as dependents of service members. They are now 43 and 40 have families who are a part of USAA. We have 4 beautiful granddaughters who will someday be a part of the USAA family, also. Our coverage is for our home and contents, 3 motorized vehicles including an RV and bank accounts.
