My legacy began when my Grandfather was a Master Chief in World War II, he began the USAA tradition in our family, and the Navy tradition as well. He passed both on to my Father and my Uncle, and when my Father met my Mother in the Navy, in Bath, Maine in the 1970's, he shared the USAA legacy with her. After a long career in the Navy (enlisting at the age of 17 and retiring as a Commander), he chose to pass the legacy down to myself and my Brother. I have now chosen to pass the legacy onto my four-year old daughter and hope that she will continue both of the traditions of our family.
