USAA was able to grow with our family's needs and help save us money. I was in the army and my auto insurance was about 250.00 per month. MY NCO recommended that I call, and my new rate was about 100 per month AND I did not have to put any other money down. I instantly saved over $150 per month from switching from Geico!! With in the next year I was actively researching online through USAA making sure I was getting the best of my benefits and managing every aspect. It took some time to get me to bank with USAA because there was no local branch to deal with. After a few years my husband and I started looking for a house, so I went with USAA (since they had great rates for VA loans) and got pre-approved, it turned out that my realtor was registered with USAA and saved us even more money. So now I am using USAA for my house (loan & insurance) and for our two cars insurance. Then not to longer after that we FINALLY switch our banking accounts over to USAA (2 checking accounts and a savings account) USAA has saved us so much money, and any time I need to have my account handled, the customer service was great, they were patient and understanding. I don't think that there is a better bank out there that fits our needs!
