ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! I submitted an application for homeowners insurance a week ago. I entered in my mortgage information and received an email confirming USAA received the application. Then NOTHING happened. My mortgage guy called and USAA said they didn't know anything about it! When I called USAA to tell them my document file has a homeowners application in it they basically just said oops. THEN I was told the premium had gone up likely because the cost of labor in the area had gone up. Needless to say I am DISGUSTED with the customer service I received. Normally, I am a loyal USAA user even if premiums are higher (because I've ALWAYS rejoiced over the outstanding service). In this case, I will be getting other quotes and most likely moving my business elsewhere. This was just not acceptable.
