Does my homeowner's polity cover off-site storage?

I've rented an off-site storage unit. They offer insurance for $10/mo or they say many homeowners policy cover.

@Anyway, Hi Edward, great question! Property in a storage unit or storage facility is covered up to the personal belongings limit on your homeowner's insurance policy with USAA. The policy covers your belongings in transit and at their new location. Exclusions such as breakage, loss and damage due to careless or rough handling or improper packing do apply. To find out more information about your coverage limit, or to answer any additional questions you may have, please reach out to USAA via chat from the homeowners insurance product page at USAA.com.
