My mother in law lives with me and recently junked her car and cancelled her insurance. Do I need to add her in order for her to use the car once or twice a month for a doctors appointment

Hello @our7kids, Yes, you will need to add your mother in law to your policy if she resides in your household and does not have her own insurance policy. You can begin a new chat anytime online to call us at 800-531-8722 to review your policy and make the necessary changes. We're happy to help make sure your policy is providing the appropriate coverage while she's driving your vehicle. -Lori

Don't add her to your USAA policy.  Leave USAA now.  Go to another company.  You will experience a cost savings and definitely better customer service.
