I am more than happy with our insurance, credit cards and bank accounts but I would seriously reconsider every accepting a buyer who is using USAA for their mortgage. The story we are getting from the buyer and their agent is that the deadlines that are being missed are due to USAA not reading the contract. The original contract called for a closing on Dec. 4, 2015. The revised contract was 'clear to close on Nov. 16, 2015', close on Dec. 1, 2015 and possession on Dec. 4, 2015. We had made arrangements for a mover as well as finding a rental that would accept 4 dogs. I had to cancel the mover and explain why we couldn't get into the rental. Needless to say, we are not happy campers. USAA needs to step up their training for their people. It is unacceptable to miss deadlines because an individual did not read all the pages of a contract!

Dear luvmystate,

I have referred your comment and experience to a mortgage specialist who will be reaching out to you personally. as an owner of only one dog, I cannot imagine the additional stress and worry four can cause in this type of situation. Please keep us updated here in the community on your closure and move. Thank you.
