Recently had a water leak, turned out we had to have bathtub replaced.  The contractor took 1 month to complete.  USAA insurance would not cover any expenses.  If your home is old, seems you should add a water endorsement to your policy. If you don't, you will be out $10,000.  For a retiree in their 90s, it was not a good experience.

Hello @Tejas3122, I am saddened to hear about your recent water leak that caused a hefty expense.  This is definitely not the experience we want our member's to have when coverage is not there.  It's important for our members to review their auto and home policies once or twice annually to make sure any life events don't leave a financial burden.  We truly appreciate you sharing this with us and most of all, we thank you for your membership and allowing us to serve your insurance needs.  ~ Marco

When you review your policy as the CSR recommends, you should review it against other insurance companies.  You will find better policies at a lower cost with better customer service.  USAA is not the company it once was.
