We bought a house that had been a rental and some previous water stain/damage around a toilet on the hardwood floor. The leak was fixed prior to us buying the house. On 12/10/14, I called USAA to file a claim about wetness and odor around the base of the toilet. This is 2 years after we bought the house!

An adjuster was sent out to take pictures for the claim, and it took until today, 1/9/15, to get a call from USAA, denying my claim!

They said some mumbo-jumbo about the leak going on for more than 2 or 3 days. Seriously? I called to report the leakage the SAME day I noticed it. What the heck am I paying insurance for?

I have been a member for 25 YEARS, and both my parents served in the Korean War!
