I returned an item to LLBean and when I looked at my account yesterday the credit was in a pending status. Today it is totally gone and does not reflect in the balance. I have sent documentation to USAA to reflect this error. I hope that they can explain why transactions just disappear.
PiSquared - I can understand your curiosity regarding the pending credit. I do not see one in your account history. That type of credit would come form the merchant, so you may consider asking them for more details. Additionally, you can dispute the initial charge by calling us at 210-531-8722 or via chat. You can initiate a chat by selecting HELP at the top of usaa.com or the “Ask a Representative” from the account summary page. i hope this helps. - Jason
