Once I initiate a transfer, how soon will my funds be available?
All transfers are subject to a hold. We may hold all or part of the funds transfer up to five business days. Funds transfers submitted after 3 p.m. CT are considered the next business day and will extend the hold period by one business day.

3. Still have questions or problems you can call 1-800-531-USAA (8722) and speak to one of USAA's Member Service Representatives whom will be happy to assist you.
I hope I have helped.

I transfer fairly regulalry and from the first time it did tell me about the delay, depending on what account it can be same day, and my 401k will take 3-5 dfays. That happens with my credit union, and bank also. You sure you didnt see anything telling you there might be a delay..?
This also happened to me! I have never heard of holding an electronic transfer! They also held my money I deposited with a money order. This is so frustrating and has cost me fees from USAA and fees from the company who tried to debit my account! Making a deposit is a nightmare!
