Like many, I too am unhappy with USAA's recent changes to the investment side of the house. I won't elaborate as many before me have articulated the major concerns. I would simply like to add my support to those experiences and share my own humbling experience with USAA. For more than ten years my payroll check would go directly to the cash management account. The change to policy recently introduced places a 4 business day hold on my payroll check before i can access the funds. So, if I get paid on a Friday, the funds are inaccessible until Thursday the following week. This is a surprising development and clearly demonstrates the lack of planning surrounding the policy changes. USAA no longer represents the finest in service but instead has reached for and successfully achieved mediocrity. My family will begin the search for a new banking partner who understands customer centric service.
