My local credit union emailed this morning offering "financial relief solutions" to members.  I am rarely disappointed in USAA; however, I just took out an emergency loan with USAA and wish I would have waited for the credit union's email offering the following. Get with it, USAA.

  • No payments for 6 months Emergency Loan
  • No fees
  • Interest free, 0% APR
  • Amounts up to $1,000 available to be repaid no later than 6 months from origination
  • Subject to credit review
  • 12-Month Emergency Loan
  • No fees
  • Rates as low as 1.98% APR
  • No payment for 90 days2
  • Loan amounts up to $5,000
  • Principal and Interest payments over 12 months
  • Subject to credit review
  • Emergency Line of Credit
  • Rates as low as 2.98% APR
  • Credit line of $5,000 with access as you need it3
  • Overdraft protection available
  • Low minimum monthly payments
  • Subject to credit review

Plus, consumer loans deferred for up to 60 days with no fees.
