USAA is awful. It was great 20 years ago.

You're right. The customer service used to be exceptional and now I can't tell the difference between USAA and Bank of America. I guess its just the bottom line. Time to move over to another bank.

Succinctly stated but completely correct! You needn't ask for God's forgiveness: you are doing people a favor by not/never  recommending USAA! I'm a 37 year "member," and there was a time USAA was honest and helpful and all in all a true 5-star organization, now when you deal with them it's like taking your car to the only mechanic in town who's known to be crooked and you have to constnatly watch him. I don't know if USAA simply began putting profit before members or their main interest has become political activism, but they are truly awful now and I regret bringing people to USAA in prior years.

Your are correct.  USAA is awful now.  What has been intentionally done to USAA is a disgrace.

Agree 100%. As 45 year member long for the OLD USAA. Used to have Banking and investments with USAA, but moved them  all because of stupid changes. Now USAA redoes their billing system that uses 3 times the paper and provides 10% of the information. Additionally, billing errors are manifest. Why does USAA say total premium for an auto policy is due, but bills are based on accrual accounting? Is USAA trying to force members out? If so you are very close to succeeding.

This is very troubling to read, @Frustrated in DC. We definitely wouldn't want any member to feel this way. Please, bear with me as I engage the appropriate area for further review and support on this. ~ Steven

Exactly what has USAA done to upset you? I want to know what to look out for. I have never had a problem with USAA. I have to stay alert now I'm seeing all these complaints!
