This sounds great but don't forget about the holding time for when you transferred funds to other accounts if they were not USAA. Seems that this can take up to a week to clear, bit long for this day in age.

Thank you for your question regarding deposit limit at the UPS store. I have done research and can find no deposit limit, however, to be sure (and to know the rules surrounding any hold that might be on a larger deposit) I recommend you contact a service specialist at 1-800-531-8722.
Thank you for your several replies/comments. Please allow us to be of assistance because USAA does have many options available for depositing. I've banked with USAA mobile for YEARS and never had any problems. I do believe they can help you.
The ONLY reason I had a local bank was when I ran a small business and needed to have change made quite frequently. However, I still kept my USAA account for my main banking. That is up to you.
Please give USAA member services a call at 1-800-531-8722 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get someone in touch with you soon. Hope to hear from you.
Don't be misled by this service. It is NOT available at every UPS store. In fact, in my city, there are only TWO UPS stores that will take the deposits. It's not as convenient as it sounds unless you happen to have a participating store near you.
It does say participating UPS Store locations. Not all of them participate, many are franchises, so I don't agree that you can be misled about this service, it's clear in the information and instructions.
