USAA cited a release date for the Secured Credit Card for July, 2021 and it appears that this has not come to fruition. What is the problem? what is the hold up? Why lie?

Also new U.I and new other stuff for the App was supposed to LAUNCH YEARS AGO

What's the excuse now?

Maybe advising, expected timeline on the release this year. Or anything that can be discussed in this forum would be helpful to users interested in this product. Also, maybe some details on how it’s going to be different from the previous version. I think users would expect some changes since been in this research phase for so long.

Thank you for your inquiry concerning a secured credit card option. We appreciate your interest, however at this time we are not actively offering the option for a secured credit card at this time!

Thanks for the taking the time to respond. I have confirmed this is an upcoming product release. The community is just looking for clarity on a timeline as they been given several updates over the last few years.

We appreciate the follow up @batman23, please let us know if you have any other questions. -Emily

Thanks for the follow up on the secured credit cards, @MyMelhado - We are continuing to work on enhancing the secured credit card product to better fit our members’ needs to build or rebuild their credit. Currently, it is not available to you for new applications. As for the new U.I and other stuff for the mobile app, I'm not sure what you're referring to. The app was just updated, so you should see the new streamlined version. If not, please update the app to the latest version. I'm going to forward this to the team that's working on the secured credit card for you so they'll know you're still awaiting this relaunch of this product. In the meantime, I hope you have a great weekend. - Cathleen

It's almost been half a year for 2022.

Any actual updates?

@MyMelhado, we have not been provided with any updates about the secured credit card. I regret any inconvenience this may cause. ~DC
