More about student loan for veterans

I was using my GI Bill to complete the MBA, after lost my regular job, the payments represent 35% of my monthly salary.

My review of the options in the Nelnet website, doesn't provide a clear conection to the best option for my actual income situation. My question is: the USAA specialist will be able to help with my concern.

Now as for your post and question.

 

  1. I gather from your post (per your reference to Nilnet found here) that you are either wanting to get a student loan (which USAA doen't do) or consolidate a current student loan (which USAA might be able to do).

  2. USAA offers Personal Loans as described here.

  3. You can call 1-800-531-USAA (8722) and speak to one of USAA's Member Service Representatives whom will be happy to assist you.

    They are open Monday to Friday - 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  1. I don't often have to correct myself as I often do extensive research prior to posting, however in this particular case I must do just that - submit a "correction" to an earlier post above.

  2. I was WRONG when I posted that USAA does not do Student Loans - THEY DO!
