Hi all,
I've recently moved to New Zealand and all my income is here, I dont have a US bank account with money in it. The USAA credit card bill payment is asking for a routing and account number...which we don't have here, the banks are setup differently. Do I really need to transfer my NZ money to a US bank to pay?
Is there any way to pay with my NZ bank card?
thanks:)

@jojoflash, I can confirm that any USAA credit card can only be paid from a US bank account. What you may want to consider is opening a USAA checking or savings and do a monthly wire from your New Zealand bank and pay the bill from the newly established account. Wires come with a cost and I know that may not be ideal. I would consult with your New Zealand bank to seek alternate options to transfer funds to a US bank account. We appreciate the inquiry. Thank you. ~Suzy

Man thats so strange! You guys are usually so good at overseas things. That block means longer for my interest to accrue and that everything is manual every fortnight to transfer with my paycheck, and then manual to pay my credit card once it arrives - I'm not sure if I can stick with USAA if that's the case, boo
Wise.com has cheap transfers, if anyone is looking for an option, though.
thanks for the reply!
