I'm really interested, does a secured card even report to the credit bureau?

It is totally up to the issuer, you have to ask them if they report it or not.

But this is a SECURED CREDIT CARD, in other words it's bent on establishing/repairing credit. At least that's what I was informed of.

They do report to to credit bureau that is if they don't freeze your credit card limit for no reason.

I got a secured card through Usaa and I thank that for building my credit back up. After a few months of that card I was able to be approved for a non secured card.
