I cashed a check and took the money and made it into a money order/ Will UPS deposit that into my account, or did I make a mistake?

Yes, you can take it to UPS Store for deposit into your account.  Be aware that deposits will probably be held for up to seven business days per your depository agreement:

Remote Deposit Capture and Similar Services
The availability periods described in this section do not apply to funds submitted through FSB’s USAA
Deposit@Home, USAA Deposit@Mobile, USAA EasyDeposit, other remote check deposit or remote deposit
capture services, ACH debit transactions (where FSB drafts funds from (debits) a non-USAA account for
deposit into your FSB account), or other similar services. FSB will hold the funds for up to seven business days
from the date of deposit. In some instances, funds may be available sooner than seven business days based on
such factors as credit worthiness, the length and extent of your relationship with FSB and its affiliates, transaction
and experience history, and such other factors as FSB, in its sole discretion, deems relevant.

Hi aanissa,

DSTEXAS is correct you can deposit from a UPS store. Additional detials about the USAA Easy Deposit Program can be found here. Thank you for posting!

One would think if they were to deposit a money order that it would be available for use right away. Certainly not the case. I did my 'easy' deposit on the 16th still waiting for the hold to be release. USAA might lose another customer because it is really not convenient for me!

Dear ajenkins,

I apologize for the hold time you are experiencing. A member service specialist (who can be reached at 1-800-531-8722) who has access to your account will be able to explain why you are experiencing the hold and what you can expect for your future deposits. Thank you for taking the time to post here in the community.
