USAA continues to CUT member services for a BIGGER PROFIT... Checking / Savings account WHOPPING 0.01% interest rate .. that's a winner .. DONOT APPLY FOR USAA CREDIT CARD ! I had CHARGE OFF back in early 2000's due to many military deployments, missed payments... In 2020, tried to apply for USAA Credit Card online, the computer (automated application screener) DENIED almost instantly... it turns out my social security number is permanently blocked so denial is immediate, I ended with 2 hard inquiries and NO CARD...and it takes 2 years for inquiries drop off credit report... there are much better options (banks) outside USAA.
