I accidentally entered one digit wrong in my bank account which led to my payment being rejected and not posting. I did not get any notification that my payment didn’t post which led to me being 30 days late. I only knew because I got a credit alert that my payment was late and that my score dropped tremendously. I immediately bought my account up to date and contacted USAA to see if they would do a forgiveness letter. Of course they said they couldn’t even though they could see that I attempted to make the payment and entered the wrong account information. I was in the middle of buying a home and I lost the home right when I was about to close because my score had dropped too low. I am currently shopping to take my business elsewhere. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.
