During a move to a new state, the USAA autopay option for our credit card was somehow erased. This was not the first time this had happened. When we called to find out why, we were told it was because we had made a payment above the minium and "we were good". We recently moved to the country and there was a time delay in receiving satellite internet services. Last week we received a snail mail from USAA saying we were two months behind on our credit card payment. How could this happen when we auto pay?! Of course when we called we were told tough luck. There was nothing they could do about it but it wouldn't be reported. That was a lie. I was staring at my credit report and they had just reported us, lowering our credit score by 80 points after working so hard to get it into the 700s. I was then told to use a "self help" option to rectify the situation with our credit. Right. We'll see. Buyer beware. Check your auto pay, or better yet, do it monthly or dump the card. Worst customer service we've ever experienced. We will be dumping the card as soon as it's paid off. Way to treat your vets, USAA>
