I am livid. Tomorrow I will close my checking with USAA. Imagine a $1.00 charge resulting in a $29.00 overdraft fee. I had no idea. Lost a week of work for the storm here in Texas last week. This bank has more money than they know what to do with. I have 2 kids all bills are paid and no food to feed them now. This is anwful and I dont know how they sleep at night.

thank you. its really frustrating when i have been told "no" twice.. i wouldnt have said anything but its One Dollar. and i didnt know where it came from.

I have found USAA Customer Service to be very helpful and understanding.  I was caregiver to my mom for 10 years and I gradually took over doing everything for her.   There were times where something got overlooked and additional charges were incurred.  I would call, explain the situation, and ask "Is there anything you can do to help me."  The answer was always "Yes.", but I was also ready to accept "No." if that was the response.  Hope this helps.
